McManus Irish Dance, founded and led by Patricia McGuigan (McManus), TCRG, are a proud member of CRDM. MID offers traditional Irish Dance classes from ages 2 (see Jiggy Tots below, in class descriptions) through 18- from absolute beginner through advanced/champion levels. Our talented dancers have earned World Medals and have been featured on NBC TODAY show, on field for the NY Mets, Broadway stages and more...
Our classes are conveniently located in Sunnyside and Long Island City, Queens & Brooklyn Heights, Brooklyn!
MID believes in a truly traditional & culturally based Irish dance experience for each of students. Our instruction and technique are steeped in proper step dancing with a strong emphasis on performance encompassing live traditional music, song and building confident, happy dancers--- all values that are evident in our student's talent, smiles, laughter & testament.
There are also opportunities to compete in traditional Irish dance competitions or feisanna.
We offer several class options from weekly, private lessons, workshops, ceili and summer dance programs- from age 18 months & up, McManus Irish Dance is happy to find a class to fit your schedule!

JIGGY TOTS "Junior" our signature Grown Up & Me program!
18 months through 3.5 years, with a grownup!
Jiggy Tots® is a creative Irish dance & movement class uniquely developed for children ages 18 months-3.5 years, with a grownup!
Each class works on building strength, developing gross motor skills, coordination, body awareness and movement creativity through dance and educational games utilizing counting and colors (sometimes including a few words in Irish language).
Upbeat traditional Irish music and song, mixed with popular toddler songs, clapping, stamping and instruments are also used to explore rhythm and a variety of time signatures.
VARIOUS KIDS CLASSES (LEVELED)
Kids ages 3 through teen
We offer a variety of leveled classes for dancers aged 3+
Jiggy Tots: "Senior"/Young Beginners Ages 3-5, a creative Irish Dance & Movement class, carefully designed to offer an intro to both independent participation and Irish dance class basics.
Beginner and Leveled classes, through Open Champion for all ages from 4+
**Classes are based on age/dance level, serving both recreational & competitive dancers.
